I find your article to be relatively accurate, but you skip over large and important details. Primarily, the fact of the matter is Canada is the pharmaceutical industries largest customer in North America. Your biggest customer in any market, get special deals. That is one of the reason's why Walmart can charge from 20-50% less than other competitors for major name brands. Also, you hint at the widely spread false notion that, if Americans pay 20% less on drugs, then new drugs will not come to market. This is completely ridiculous, as Drug companies constantly and continuely generate billions and billions in profit every year; and I would hazard to guess they would continue to make billions and billions in profit if American's payed 20% less for drugs....
