Thank you for writing an article so quickly on last night's unveiling. But you left out several key stats that the presenters stated last night:

1) The new hospital building will be 300 ft tall, so 50% taller than the neighboring high rises that are about 200 ft tall. The statistic on 21 floors does not convey the true height of this building as accurately.

2) The gross square footage of the 2 new facilities will be greater than the existing square footage.

3) Construction in that area will take 8 years (which St. Vincents and Rudin themselves estimated).

4) Furthermore, surveys are inherently susceptible to bias, especially when conducted by one of the parties involved. So the results stated may or may not reflect what the village residents truly think.

5) That the Rudins wil pay $500 for each developable square foot (FAR that's approved after zoning changes are sought).
