As Ms. Skenazy so sagely suggests, the ghosts of Yankees past; may well have been partaking in a buffet, somewhere in the Great Beyond, that may have been hosted by Chief Crazy Horse, or some other Native American legendary leader, at least, for this latest disastrous season for the Bronx Bombers. Now that the Yanks have meekly bowed-out, still again in the first round of the playoffs, the big cheese, George, has sworn to send Manager Joe Torre packing, and this time he wont be dissuaded! In closing, as for the Cleveland Indians having departed the stadium the other night with Yankee scalps hanging from their belts----here I thought that the practice of "scalping", always took place OUTSIDE of sporting venues?
