It's humerous how you knock the Nets for their playoff failures but seem to be blind to the simple fact that they were missing two potential all stars in Krstic and Jefferson, notice how I said potential. The truth is the Nets are a great team, they made it to the playoffs each of the last 6 seasons which only four other teams have done and they have done this with major injuries each and every year.( Kidd & Jefferson 05, Jefferson 06 playoffs, Krstic &Jefferson 07) Tell me if Detroit would make the playoffs, or the second round of the playoffs for that matter, without two of their starters for most of the season. One of them a 7 footer averaging 17 and 7 and out for the playoffs. So maybe take these things into account before you just trash talk a great team. You can't even give them credit for outplaying the Raptors in the playoffs, all of this without Krstic. Tell me if you think the Cavs would have been to the second round without Zedrunis IIgaskius(spelling?) In Fact you go ahead and find a team and then remove its 2nd and 3rd best scorers and 2nd and 3rd best rebounders for a large portion of the season and playoffs and tell me how well they do. The Nets deserve some respect and I'm sick of all you writers focusing on all the negative. I also like how OLD Kidd and Carter are yet again this year. That was the same garbage you all wrote last year and well they only had their best seasons in their NBA careers. Kidd averaged a Triple double in the playoffs and made History while doing so. Carter averaged 25 , 6 and 5. Man!! He must be getting old with numbers like that!! Get that guy an oxygen tank and some bayer. Show respect where it's due and if you wanna trash talk teams stick with the knicks.
