NL Teams Can't Touch the Talent of the AL

"One of them is going to follow in the proud tradition of last year's 83-win St. Louis Cardinals."

yes indeed, they will. i just hope they can put up more of a fight in the world series than that pathetic cardinals team did against an unbeatable detriot juggernaut! wait, what's that? the cardinals won that series? but... but.... but they're from the NL! no! it's impossible! they must've made a deal with the devil!

wake up and smell the coffee. the 4 AL playoff teams won more games than the NL teams because no one in the NL sucks as bad as the d-rays, orioles, white sox, or royals. when you have the decent amount of talent the yankees/indians/red sox/tigers have, and get to play those guys a combined 40+ times a year, it's hard NOT to win 90 games. i'm actually shocked the tigers didn't get there. they should be ashamed. put the phillies in the AL east, they win 95 EASILY. put the cubs in the AL central (baseball's worst division... sorry) and they win 90+. the NL west was FAR AND AWAY baseball's toughest division... that the rockies, diamondbacks, and padres all managed to win 89 games in it is a minor miracle. the one AL playoff team i've excluded from this, of course, is the angels. the AL west didn't really have any patsies this year, so i commend them for winning like they did. too bad they were so banged up by the time they got to the ALDS. were they healthy, i'm confident they would have taken the pennant.
