Whether it's President Bush resisting New York's effort to enroll middle-income children in a federal health care program or Republicans in Albany protesting the governor's immigrant license policy, they are all having "knee-jerk reactions to sound policies that have no business being politicized," Mr. Spitzer asserted.

Why should anyone have a say? We should just shut up, keep the tax money coming, and let Pope Spitzer dole it out as he sees fit. Whether it's $175,000,000 for chemotherapy care of illegal immigrants, or the increased (monetary and public safety) costs of issuing drivers licenses to individuals 'regardless of citizen status' Spitzer knows best.
