So, a foreign company can override state law by spending a lot of money schmoozing politicians in Washington, in order to build a power line that will line the pockets of offshore investors, when that power line has been deemed unnecessary, a blight on the environment and detrimental to the local economy.

Doesn't this sound more like the politics of a banana republic, rather than the United States?

New York, are we going to stand by and let this happen?

This is an outrage!
