Study Shows Disparities in Hospital Care

We need to get scorecard to the public on hospital infection rates. My mother died suddenly at Lenox Hill Hospital after catching one infection after the other. Even the doctors would tell me "that's what happenes when you spend too much time in the hospital " Two weeks into her stay my mom was waiting to get discharged. I was told we had to wait for her assigned attending doctor to return from vacation. He was on an eight day ski vacation. During his skiing my mom caught a whopping infection that put her in the ICU on a vent machine. I really belive that when a patient dies in a hospital it should be investigated by the police as would any other death. A year and a half later I still have not received answers to my questions concerning her death. The New York City Board of Health and the AMA were useless.
