You may be interested in a film about Rodchenko, "Alexander Rodchenko and the Russian Avant-garde", which chronicles Rodchenkos work in Moscow and goes a long way in supporting your thesis set out in the article . The Russian avant-garde movement shortly after the revolution thrived for a period of about ten years.
