Twenty years ago my next door neighbor kindly took in her father-in-law who was bed-ridden. He was 86 years old. She told me that he loved vanilla pudding, but the doctor said it wasn't good for him, so she didn't give it to him anymore. I'm sure Michael Jacobson would approve.
