Who are these people that speak for the people that no one will own up to, because people like Bloomberg are talking from an orfice that should be reserved for other things. No man or woman has the right to make decisions concerning the safety of my family or how I protect them. I as a husband, a father, a friend, a man reserve the right to defend my family and my home with whatever means avaliable and if that means by the use of a gun then so be it. Are these people talking of banning guns so stupid that they think the criminals out there will not come into my home and do what they want because they know I do not have a gun to protect myself with. I do not understand why these folks think that they know better than our founding fathers of these United States and can speak up against our rights as humans and as Americans. What are the values that people recognize these days...I am not sure but the values are God, family, and country. The people that hold offices need to remember this and also remember who put them in that office. We the people lend you this office for a period of time and you should remember the people have the power, not you and your hidden agenda to take advantage of the job at hand. Not all people agree with what you believe in and these folks holding office should remember this. We have a right to protect ourselves by any means and I can assure you that a gun manufacture is not the problem...it is the criminals that do not care and too easily get through our legal system due to some slick talking lawyer or God forbid we are not being politcaly correct or the other huge sin of our time...we are being racist because of color or religion. Give me a break, people have the same right as I do to make a better life for themselves...it is their choice to give up and not move forward.
