Teaching Moment

Submitted by Brad Thomas, Sep 25, 2007 12:26

Thank you for for rightly using this editorial to provide a "teaching moment" to as many as will receive it. Ahmadinejad got what he wanted, via the major network's coverage (he always uses sing-song speaking translators to soften his words to the West, making him almost sound like a mystic from India, rather than what he is).

But while Ahmadinejad was able to orchestrate the opportunity (and the subsequent one at the UN), to reach his intended audiences; at least Bollinger summoned sufficient moral outrage to seize the opportunity to publicly rebuke Ahmadinejad's wickedness before the Columbia University student-body, so many of whom are willingly indoctrinated to believe and embrace lies rather than truth. Would that Bollinger had done better, but thanks be to God that he did something rather than mutely "behaving."
