Terrorists have been firing rockets from Gaza into Israel for years, recently hitting schools and injuring 69 Israeli soldiers. They also target Israelis, especially children, for suicide bombings. The people of Gaza, knowing that Hamas is committed to destroying Israel, elected Hamas as their government. The US doesn't provide services to al Qaeda or its supporters. Israelis have no obligation to provide services to people who are obsessed with murdering them. If the people of Gaza want electricity and fuel from Israel, stop attacking Israelis—settle disputes by talking and negotiating.
