This is not a case about black prisoners or black outh culture. This about a double standard and a DA that has a history of giving RACIAL PREFERENCES AND SPECIAL TREATMENT to whites. Ofcvourse these kids should be punished for fighting in shool but a possible 22 yrs for a school fight and then to allow the white kids to jump the black kid with no charges???? I had a fight at a bus stop once when I was a stupid high school kid but I couldn't imagine being charged with attempted murder.

SEE Dailykos or Terry Ellis in Huffpost for the WHOLE story - There was a black kid that was beaten by whites in that town and nothing happened. The nooses were hanged and a few days later a white kid in Jena got into an argument with the black kid that was beaten, the white kid went to is truck to get a gn and the black kid took it away to avoid being shot... the white kid was not charged with anything and the black was charged with theft of a firearm. This is a case about equal protection & this DA needs to be investigated.

Thank god for black bloggers and black radio show host b/c unlike the Duke case the white media ignored this until the last week or so. This DA is as corrupt and racist as Nifong and this type of bigotry happens like that all of the time down here. I am sick of blacks who live in more progressive parts of the country trying to minimize the pre jim crow justice that occurs on a regular basis.

This case is also about how Jackson and Sharpton are irrelevant ( except to the white media who only know of two black people). Thsi case was about how the black blogs like color of change and even black ent blogs like Bossip ( which linked to your article today) & concreteloop have been covering this case in the same way Abrams, Tucker, Scarborough, O' Reilly, Hannity, Limbaugh etc... covered those choir boys down in NC ( one of whom also beat up someone for being gay).
