It is a treat to have one's book reviewed in the "Sun," especially when the reviewer has some kind things to say. With all due respect, I differ with him on several points. Rather then commenting at length, I would humbly suggest that anyone interested in alternative readings of the book take a look for themselves. They could simply google "Gellately and The Washington Post" or "Gellately and The Economist" for two quite different reviews of the book by two Russian experts. The contrasts with the review in the "Sun" are most interesting.
