Tim, one might wonder about almost everything Willie does in regard to the bullpen. He has one pitcher who destroys righties but gets killed by lefties (Sosa) and one who destroys lefties but gets killed by righties (Schoeneweis). But he doesn't use these guys as specialists; he brings them in to pitch full innings with the game on the line. On the other hand, he has a lefty who is very effective against both lefties and righties (Feliciano -- there is a platoon differential, but it is pretty small) but, more often than not, Randolph uses him as a LOOGY. Joe Torre always took a lot of heat for his bullpen usage, but Willie makes Torre look like a strategic genius in comparison.
