The Greenspan

It is astonishing to see an intelligent monetarist embrace the views and values of an unregenerate socialist. If Greenspan can leap, flailing, into that abyss--anything can happen. I've always suspected that it requires that a person suffer from a whole set of disorders in order for him to be an avowed collectivist. Perhaps elucidating the etiology of that condition is what American politics needs most. Perhaps we could then explain Senator Hagel.
