As a Blazer fan, I have read a couple dozen articles on Greg Oden's injury and the state of the Portland Trail Blazers. Yours is by far the best and most complete analysis. No one can accurately predict the future (isn't that the true fascination with sport?) but as you state, the future in Portland is very bright after many years of well documented scandalous punks. This city is thrilled to be rid of the likes of Rasheed, Bonzi and Zach and welcomes a refreshing quality character and warm personality in Greg Odem and complemented by good guys like Aldridge and Roy.

I do not agree that the Blazers will have another down year. A good shoot at the playoffs is very possible.

I wish Knick fans the best with their new acquisition as no doubt Zach can play - - - but his off-court behavior can be interesting to say the least. Perhaps the spotlight glare will not be so bright in a much larger market. Your franchise is long overdue some good luck!
