I live in Austin, Texas and I saw Kevin Durant play at UT. The college player of the year was the better pick.

Oden's injury history is very troubling. He went pro after only one year in college, and already he has a significant injury history. His performance in the summer league (not mentioned by Hollinger) was miserable.

Durant is pure gold, and everyone knows it. Hollinger needlessly defends a bad pick, even now.
