DC protects its citizens is laughable! Maybe true, if you consider yellow tape and chalk marks protection.

The bottom line is corrupt governements and outlaws murder un-armed innocents every day.

NY, NJ, CA and Wash DC need "shall issue" concealed carry and reciprocity of concealed carry with other states, like a drivers license.

A thug approaches you on the street with a gun/happens to good hard working people every single day without fail, do you want to have a gun and at least have a chance of survival or would you prefer to take your chances that he will not shoot you or a loved one?

In yesterdays Miami Herald it was reported that 2 illegaly armed men went to rob a store, the store clerk shot and killed one of them (FL is a "shall issue" state) vs. Newark recently they executed 3 un-armed good kids, who if just one of them were lawfully armed, might all be alive today.

Every city (Wash DC, NYC, Camden, Newark) that "bans" guns (for the regular over-taxed citizen, not the politicians (very corrupt in NJ) and their friends) is really a socialist movement that says the criminal is a victim and you should give them what they want; including your's or a loved ones own life.

Self defense is a civil right.
