One should shy away from 'blowing up' bad news beyond what's required, but I'm afraid the Democrats simply don't see the dangers involved in world-wide terrorism. In addition to dismissing the Islamic extremist threat by citing problems at 'Gitmo' and with the The Patriot Act, they are also afraid that we might not be liked be other nations if we confront the terrorists. It's like a third grader's philosophy! "If I wear sneakers instead of shoes, my classmates might not like me anymore." Get over it! The United States is strong and powerful and wealthy and people of the world are resentful and envious.
