Me thinks he doth protest too much. Fred's campaign went off about the PhoneyFred website because doing so permitted them the opportunity to get publicity.... Fred's campaign is all about style over substance, and he needs all the help he can get.

Ironically Fred's campaign essentially admitted the charges made on PhoneyFred were true, but of course were low, mean-spirited, and dirty, and thus had no place in modern political discourse.
