Its people like you that make 9/11 so bad. You think that because it happened so long ago we should just be able to move on. They attacked our country and our way of life. For one day, we lost our freedom and gave in to terroristic scare tactics. You obviously haven't faced the fact that your friend WILL NEVER BE BACK. He will never celebrate another birthday, won't see his children get married and have babies, won't spend his golden years with the woman that he loves. Your perception of this day of grieving is warped and sad and nothing but your own opinion. I hope you realize what that day ment to so many people and I hope you become more aware of your words and how sharp and deep they can cut. I feel sad for you.
