Mysteries Proliferate In the Sky Above Syria

Submitted by kendwell, Sep 10, 2007 16:00

comments by russia and debka indicate claim battery firing of at least 1 s-1 Pantsyr missile, newly delivered to syria, to be followed by 40-50 more batteries, of which 10-15 reportedly going to Iran for "high value" target defense. At the least, probable russian crews (instructors??) turned on the radar and painted the Israeli planes, revealing no doubt useful intelligence. Debka claims successful jamming of the missile, which is possible, but also possible that missile recovery was sought, or russian crew held back from launching. Stay tuned
