While I agree with alot of what you wrote in your article one point I do not agree with at all is your statement about family memberss for the most part going on with our lives..... I lost my brother on 9/11 in the towers and my family was and is devastated!! Many cannot understand the loss, and many assume families are over it or have gone on as you say with our lives. I know many of my friends who lost husbands on that day , sons and siblings have walked on but not without the pain. Even some wives that lost husbands if they have remarried or are dating it is never ithout remembering with such sadness some cant understand. The losses of 9/11 were similiar to the worst losses in wars and without going into detail gruesome and not identified or buried for years. I do agree and have respect for your comments and your article but to assume that for the most part we the family members have gone on with our lives .....no not without pain each day without our loved ones.I know many many family members and Ii know they are all in pain and even if they have gone on or walked on its not without pain. I do agree that so many people have forgotten the horror of the day and yes they need to be reminded even though extremely painful for families to see again and again. I have also encountered many who also do not simply care or see it as the same as any other loss. I personaly care about anyones loss in life and would just say 9/11 was different because it was murder and gruesome and an attack on our country. I am not saying it was worse than any other death just different.............
