This veteran is another example of the many brave people who have served and defended this country and have yet to receive proper reciprocation from the government. This situation reminds me of the scenario I only recently became aware of due to Michael Moore's film, "Sicko". He shows the plight of several 9-11 rescue workers and civillian heroes who try to receive health care for the illnesses that resulted from their service to this country on that ill fated day. The difficulties that this war veteran is facing in obtaining US citizenship for himself and his family is just as absurd as giving the captured terrorists health care superior to American citizens and heroes. I believe this is an America worth fighting for and so does Seargent Singh. Our leaders in congress and in the White house should ensure that the rights of Americans here at home are protected and fullfilled, before concerning themselves with those abroad. I hope this Veteran and his lawyers petitions this issue to his Senators and Representatives and he receives what he rightfully deserves.
