Radical Idea! Instead of raising taxes why not spend tax dollars on what they were intended for.

Motor fuel taxes and tolls were established to pay for initial construction costs and maintenance. But, over the years more and more money is siphoned off for mass transit.

Maybe one solution might be to have ribbon cutting ceremonies for pot hole repairs not just new construction.
