I met Neal in 1967 at Ken Kesey's home in La Honda, CA. It was fleeting but electric. Not knowing who he was, I knew he was somebody. He was probably the oldest person there and with the youngest girl there. I never saw him standing still - and that's not to say he was walking or dancing. He was perpetual motion as though he were plugged into an electric outlet. Glad I met him.
