‘Old Age Isn't For Sissies'

Submitted by Derek Humphry, Aug 16, 2007 00:21

The writer points to a failure to pass an assisted suicide law in California, but fails to point out that physician-assisted suicide for the terminally ill has been available in Oregon since l998. From all reports and observations, it appears to be working well. Of course, politicians are scared to pass such laws in case they get boycotted at their next election. The voters of Oregon got their hastened death law by ballot initiative - voting twice in favor of it.
