Bloomberg once again proves to be the know it all who knows nothing. If illegal immigration is good for New York City than the Mayor needs to be impeached immediately. This city is the haven for all because this city does not follow the rule of law. Bloomberg is ready to make all these farcical laws,i.e no smoking in bars and restaurants, banning of trans fats in restaurant cooking and tolls on cars entering Manhattan at various hours,, but the police and health care officials can not ask about that persons immigration status. Government officials state they fear the immigrant community will not come forward and tell of crimes in their community. How lame is that excuse. Any American citizen applying for a job has to fork over documents proving thier citizen status, why should it be any different for anyone applying for social services of any kind in this country. Education, health care, whatever it be. Show me and you will get it.

Something is wrong in this country and city if the taxpayers demand that something be done regarding the illegal immigration problem and their elected officials will not do a damn thing. The cost of living is skyrocketing in this city because of the dole that is paid out by it.

Common sense has surely left the elected officials of this country, who see it as their god given right to do whatever it is they want to do and not listen to the 85% who want somwthing done. It is time for time limits in all forms of government. Kennedy, McCain, Bruno, SIlver for starters are in need of a long rest period. It is these individuals and a lot more like them that are the cause of this countries decline.

Good Government is an oxymoron. Something found in Shangrila, not in the governental halls of this country.
