Why Abortion Is Wrong

The big Hollywood success movie "Look Who's Talking," about a single woman who has an unwanted pregnancy. I think the only time abortion even comes up in that movie is when Kirstie Alley's character says "I'm not having an abortion." Yeah. And what about "Sex and the City" and "Beverly Hills 90210," both successful TV shows where main characters became pregnant unexpectedly and made the agonizing decision to keep their babies. Yeah, Hollywood just LOVES abortion. It's all their fault that there are so many, right?

Abortion may be wrong in your eyes, but to many women it is a necessity, and making abortion illegal to appease the holier-than-thou crowd will relegate many of these women to back-alleys and wire hangers. The reason that most Americans are pro-choice is not because it is a "billion dollar industry" for them, as you say, but because they recognize that abortion is a private matter between the woman and her doctor, and possibly her husband/boyfriend, and that all women should have access to safe and legal abortions if they want them, without being guilted out of it by the likes of you.
