I was at the premiere as well, and I feel that many of the singers were undeservably booed. I dont understand! Amanda Mace"s soprano was beautifully sung and very well acted.and eventhough it was well performed, it was booed. Weigles interpretation of the score was very good as well. I believe that many of the boos were directed to the staging rather than the actual musicianship. The music was great!
