The ‘Burden' of Making DUMBO a Historic District

Submitted by John P Meiden, Aug 4, 2007 10:05

Look it is great to have the historic society making sure the look and presents is kept. But why not have a building code to renovate these building in the same style while building additional building also in the same style. I know the Watch tower really fits the historic. New yOrk needs to rebuild everything is falling down and this area until recently last 5 to 10 years has been a scarey area except for a few blocks. The place is coming alvie with all the building that is going on. Let it happen but make it happen in the style of the neigborhood. God the brickoven pizza is good over there.
