costs an estimated 750 billion over 5 years. It passed an overwhelmingly Republican congress and was signed by Mr. Bush. Now that the Democrats are in charge, the same Republicans are shocked, shocked at the Dems' plan to spend 50 billion the provide health insurance for children! Call me a cynic, but could it be that the GOP's real objection to this is that kids don't vote?
