New York reps like Shumer, Carolyn Maloney and Hillary Clinton never address the fact that any income tax increase hits their constituents more than any others in the country. Representatives from every other state look out for their constituency first, with our reps its not even an afterthought. When we had the retroactive Clinton tax hike in the 1990's the majority of the revenue confiscated came from taxpayers living within 25 miles of NYC and the state of California.
