Wonderful article, sharp, precise, cunning. Gary Giddins is right : ACE IN THE HOLE is better, more cunning, more relevant now. And Jan Sterling is terrfic. Wilder says that one of her greatest lines in which she says she does not go to church and kneel because of her stockings was written by his wife. Great gift. It explains why they stayed together so long. A masterpiece
