The ‘Burden' of Making DUMBO a Historic District

Landmarking is no more onerous than building code enforcement and it adds value. DUMBO is one of the premier New York City exterior venues for film and video production because of its intact historic nature. Much has been made of the economic return to the city of this industry, but it will be totally lost if historic vistas are further altered.
