Harvard Grad Chooses $25,000-Salary Job as N.Y. Cop

Reference Cheryl Walters enthusiam expressed in this article.......I have served in law enforecement in the past. Check back with her in 5 years and see what her take is on everything then. She is a 26 year old naive kid still. And that is not being disrespectful, if you think I am wrong, just check back with her in 5 years. I venture to say by then she will be on her way out or long gone from NYPD. In the article she spoke of Madeline Albright, a woman in such a "powerful" position. Do the forensic psychology on that. Wait till she fights several "powerful" criminals before the backup arrives. And wait till she sees the corruption of the "family in blue" up close and personal. Law enforcement is fun the first two years, and then it starts taking its inevitable toll. When you watch COPS and the cops are telling you on camera, best job in the world, love it, couldn't imagine doing something else, but they sacrafice their family lifes, and financial futures for the "power". The cops I know that have walked away are the happiest cops I know. And I know a bunch. Good luck Cheryl, you're gonna need it, and more than luck. Jeff N Tennessee
