Some Landlords To Face Greater Regulations

I am in favor of protections for low income tenants. However, these protections should be provided only to tenants within appropriate income cielings. Tenants who moved into rent regulated housing thirty or forty years ago, and who now enjoy much higher incomes, should not be entitled to those protections. For one thing, it keeps them from moving and making the housing available to new tenants whose earnings are lower.
