Reader comment on:
Jerry Hadley, 55, Lyric Tenor Star of Metropolitan Opera

Submitted by Tina Healy, Jul 20, 2007 08:37

From Down Under, Victoria, Australia, I would like to express my overwhelming sadness at the tragic circumstances leading to the premature death of Jerry Hadley. I first heard and saw him singing "Candide", a role he was expressly chosen for by the composer, Leonard Bernstein. Since then I have chased his many recordings from opera to "Show Boat". Rest in Peace, Jerry.
