Mr. Avni makes a good point about Israel punching above its weight in the world economy. I don't know if anyone's done a study of what it would mean to the world economy if Israel were really to be wiped off the map, but someone should. Plus, of course, one should figure out the cost of damage to be done once the Jihadists have a straight shot to Spain and the other parts of southern Europe they want to claim for their new caliphate.
