U.N. Procurement Official Found Guilty of Bribery, Fraud

Submitted by Andrew McNeil, Jul 14, 2007 16:16

Ms Redfern should be complimented on her bravery and honesty in persuing what she believed was not right at the UN office of procurement. It amazes me that Malloch Brown did not support her, and the British government allows him to continue as an officer representing them at the UN. His lack of insight into this problem should be grounds for his removel from this body. Hopefully the British government will realize this and act accordingly.

As for Ms. redferns legal bills, the UN should without question pay them immediately. I would be pleased to start a fund to help her pay these bills.
