City High Schools Shut Out From Newsweek's Top 100

Submitted by Victoria, Jul 11, 2007 14:46

It's hard to imagine a place like this. To me it is a major indicator that major cities that have mainly inner-city schools need to strive to create a better education system. I come from a different backround and geographic location in the united states where education is thought to be essential and the most stressed. Our school always ranks highly in these ranks which I find to be disappointing. It means that all other schools with the exception of about 10 are not as academically oriented. I beleive America should step up their education system so we as a nation can be competitive with other nations in the future.
