I don't understand why any one would be surprised at the abandonment of attorney/client privelege. The President has called the Constitution a GD piece of paper. Since 911(what a coincidence) constitutional rights are all but extinct. The "Attorney General" says there is no right to habeas corpus,1st,2nd,4th,5th and 10th Ammendments are toast. Why the shock and awe now? When a nation ignores the rule of law,we are left with King George and DICK. If it were not so sad,they would sound like a comedy team.
