Wimbledon Needs Another Borg, and Roger Isn't It

federer produced some great tennis today to pull off the win, but i don't think we'll ever see him hit a sit-down winner like nadal did. what a shot! rafa had fed's number in the fifth set, twice, and it was rafa's own errors, his nerves, that let federer off the hook. in my opinion, nadal out-played federer today and fed knows it. fed even implied as much in his speech, which for once was somewhat more humble and even gracious towards rafa. of course, it had to be, considering that rafa had the match on his racquet -- twice in the 5th. in any case, it will be interesting to see what happens next, in the hard court season. the young players will be pushing fed more-and-more. whether he can break, or tie, any more records is up in the air. besides which, rafa came much closer to beating fed on wimbie grass than fed has ever come to ousting rafa on roland garros clay. rafa will be the next #1 and the game will be all the more exciting for it. VAMOS!
