in response to reader comment: Clinton and Race

I have not seen any evidence of government silence or inactivity as you describe. In what way has our government failed to act or has been silent on this issue? How is the current administration discriminating against black people via federal aids funding?

There have been no cases of anyone being refused treatment for aids based on race or any proof that this government is refusing to allow federal money to be spent on aids education and prevention in black communities. Our government has spent billions on the prevention, treatment, and research of aids and is not limiting that spending based on race or any other demographic classification.

Mrs. Clinton is using this accusation solely as a means to attract the support of the black communities by falsely insisting that the Bush administration is purposely discrimination against black, something that is not happening.
