I have seen more and more of this happening in the game lately...I watch it worldwide and was wondering if I was really the only one noticing that taller players are getting the nod more than the short skillful ones...I think even Peckerman was guilty...picking the tallest from the small in the world cup.

It is a shame it it coming to this...what will happen next? Perhaps they will develop two types of football...regular nets for the tall guys and downsized for the shorties!

Either way, the fact that such an incredible player like Tevez is being replaced because of height infuriates me. And then Pardew has the nerve to say he did not get the chance to explain to Tevez why he took him off? If I was Tevez I would have felt more infuriated 'after' I heard his excuse... Going straight home was mild compared to what Tevez could have done. I love seeing him in English football...He will do wonders when given the chance to breath and develop his style...but I would not blame him if he took a hike to Spain in January.

Us Brits do not know when we have something great until someone else takes it away from us..
