When I saw Old Acquaintance a few weeks ago, I thought to myself, "What is wrong here?" I should be liking this a lot more than I am. I very much wanted to get into this play, with its A plus sets and georegous costumes, a handsome cast -- and not one but two maids, one in a uniform! But the electricity never got past 2 candlepower. Thanks Eric, you said it all well. I still applaud Roundabout for trying a play that NOBODY has looked at.
