It's time to end the Torre regime. Great coaches in nearly every sport have a shelf life. 11 years I would say is 2 years too long. The team needs a new voice, a new rudder, something. The fact is, Torre's value was placed squarely on the fact that he could stand up to The Boss. Now that George is essentially a vegetable, Torre warts are exposed. He simply does not have the brains, guts or where with all to maximize the talent he has. He needs to run his starters out there as long as they can. He needs to use his best relievers in the highest leverage positions. I don't think he is capable. He also, should make Jeter move from short!
