Outage Sparks Outrage

Submitted by John Kraft, Jun 28, 2007 11:10

We entered the Information Age some years ago and our need for electricity to power the devices associated with that Age increased by leaps and bounds. Yet, there has been no accompanying growth in power plants and sub-stations to meet that need. We have added more and more vehicles to our roads over the past thirty years. Many with low miles per gallon ratings. Yet, we have not built a single refinery in that same time period. Shakespeare's character, Puck, was right. "What fools we mortals be".
